Pataskala is situated on State Routes 16 and 310, only three miles north of Exit 118 off 1-70. Although Pataskala is a small community, its surrounding area population has doubled in the last 10 years.

Buckeye Lake State Park, only a short drive away, offers boating, fishing, and camping facilities.
