Pataskala, Indian name for Bright Waters of the Licking River, is a small hamlet in Licking County, Ohio, located only 25 minutes from the State Capital in Columbus. Pataskala is situated on State Routes 16 and 310, only three miles north of Exit 118 off 1-70. Although Pataskala is a small community, its surrounding area population has doubled in the last 10 years.
