After accepting a position in a new city and beginning to plan for the relocation, I contacted Sam Cooper based upon a referral from a close friend. We scheduled our initial consultation to meet at our home to complete the listing process. Sam arrived promptly for the scheduled appointment and immediately eased our concerns regarding the process. First, we went on a tour of the home discussing each room and suggestions that would help up realize full market value. Next, he reviewed all documents with us, explaining each in detail, then provided us with a very thorough analysis of home sales in our neighborhood. Finally, we discussed the sale price and reached an agreement of the value we all felt the house would sell quickly and realize a profit. Upon completion of our initial consultation, Sam provided a list of providers that could complete some of the improvements we agreed to complete to realize top dollar. All contacts provided by Sam were professional and completed the work needed within promised timeframes. We were now ready to put the house on the market. Sam compiled an amazing presentation of pictures and specifications that were compiled into a color flyer that was attached to the sale sign for easy access to persons as they drove by the property. Additionally, Sam advertised our home in multiple publications and on television. Every scheduled showing of the property was immediately followed with a call from Sam to provide feedback he obtained from the buyer's agent. Sam would review the feedback with us to determine if there was any further action we could take to assist in making the house more desirable to potential buyers. Just around three months on the market we received a call from Sam advising of the offer. Sam met with us to review the offer and counseled us on how to negotiate the offer to our advantage without alienating the buyer. We made one counter offer and the buyer's accepted, which again highlighted Sam's superior knowledge of his business. Sam simplified the inspection and closing process taking care of all scheduling and requests from the buyer's. He was able to provide quick resolution to the request to remedy we received from the buyers, yielding great satisfaction from all parties. The closing took place within 30 days of accepting the counter offer with Sam monitoring the process closely to ensure that all parties were meeting promised timelines. Selling a home is listed as one of life's biggest stress causing events; however, with Sam Cooper as a realtor you are guaranteed to alleviate that potential stress from your life. I can honestly say that I never made a call to Sam that was not answered or returned within the hour. It is rare today to find someone dedicated to customer service and knowledgeable about all aspects of his profession, but Sam was there every step of the way providing guidance and counseling.
