Improving your front entry. Clean, varnish or paint the front door. Replace broken doorbell button, polish door brass and confirm door locks are in good working condition.

Paint the interior and exterior of your house- touch up throughout using light neutral colors.

Repair your roof replacing loose shingles or tiles. Remove any tree branches resting on your roof.

Maintain your lawn and gardens. Keep lawn mowed, trim overgrown shrubbery, weed flower beds, repair fences, gates and trellises and remove snow and ice from walks and steps during the winter.

Make sure you house is well ventilated giving it a clean fresh odor. Move cats litter box outside and clean any soils or stains from pets.

Keep kitchen appliances spotless. Keep counters and sink free of clutter and dishes.

Keep bathrooms looking immaculate. Replace chipped or worn commode seats, repair cracks and grout in tile, repair leaky faucets and re-enamel, patch or replace chipped or stained sinks.

Clean clutter out of closets

Clean and paint woodwork, trim, doors and windows- keep windows washed and replace broken panes, wash and repair screens, clean finger marks on woodwork, doors and light switch plates and polish door knobs and other hardware.

Repair cracked walls and floors in basement. Remove items not being used and use a dehumidifier to ventilate to avoid musty odors.

Clean garage but keep door closed. Check door operation.

Keep house well lit. Put in bright light bulbs and turn on lamps on dark days, keep draperies open and window shades up and check drapery rods for smooth operation.
